About me..
So what is there to say about me? Well, I'm a 30-something mum of 2, happily married, and living in Dartford. I work part time as a practice nurse.. although it often feels like I'm doing a weeks work in my three days!
I spend far too much of my spare time sat at my computer, with my main interest being my book forum, and review blog. I have a growing interest in security.. I'm always nagging people to make sure they have the right software to protect their computers!
My other interest is reading, and that's reflected in my book forum, and the site I'm building up around it. Since starting in July '05, we have constantly grown, and there are lovely members there. I have also build a review blog, and am in constant contact with authors and publishers. I've read some great new books during 2008!
In addition to reading, I enjoy music. Favourites range from The Beatles and John Lennon through to Anastacia and Texas, and include pop, rock, and soundtracks. I have to pay some attention to the recent chart hits as both my girls enjoy their music too!
Another enjoyment of mine is films, although at the moment it's a struggle to find time to visit the cinema, or concentrate on a DVD. I used to like horror films, although I'm not so keen any more. I enjoy certain sci-fi films, and some 'girlie' ones, such as Beaches and Dirty Dancing!
I also have very little time for the TV, but I do try to keep up with a few programmes. I can't miss Dr Who, Torchwood, Lost or Desperate Housewives!
