When my daughter was born with talipes (clubfoot), I turned to the internet for information. This appeared fairly limited, so I decided to produce a simple site of my own. Whilst searching for graphics to use I contacted a web designer in the US, and we soon became friends. She gave me alot of help, and most importantly, encouragement, and I was soon hooked!! The original site has greatly expanded since then, and now has it's own domain, and a fairly popular message board. I feel it offers information and support, and I receive lots of positive feedback. I also have some pages dedicated to Bethany, where you can read about her early days, and see lots of cute photos! I've been very bad at putting together a site for Amy, but there are plant of photos in my blog! I was then asked by my mum to design a site about a condition she has, called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. It now includes a very popular message board, for help and support. My most recent project is my Book Club Forum. With over 100 members, and approaching 20000 posts, it's doing well! As well as book discussions, there is a busy general chat section. My latest project was a site for a friend. Cindy is hoping to become a published author, and so needed to have the start of a site to use. I'm looking forward to the day when I can add her first published book to it! :) I spent most of my spare time at my computer, and I am always on the lookout for projects to work on.. there's always plenty waiting to be learnt! |
