My story So Far

My first photo! :-)

To start at the beginning, I was born on 10th February, 1999! Mummy was induced, and I decided I didn't want to come out the usual way, so Mummy was taken to the theatre, and at 03:11, I was born by Caesarean Section.

I gave everyone a shock, because they were expecting me to be big, but I weighed in at 5lb 15.5ozs.

Apparently all my clothes were a bit big, so Nanny had to go shopping for some tiny ones!!

When I was 10 weeks old, I went into my cot in my own room. I decided at this point that I didn't have to wake Mummy in the night for a bottle, because it was much nicer to have a long sleep. This seemed to make my Mummy very happy!!.
Asleep!
See, I can do it!

By 6 months I was able to sit for a little while, but I had to have someone behind me because I kept toppling over.

Soon after this, I stayed at my Nanny's for a week, and decided that I could be a big girl, and manage by myself. Well, for a little while, anyway - it's hard work!

I soon had this down to a fine art, and then I discovered that it was even more fun to start crawling. I found all sorts of things on my travels, but there's always someone to pick me up, and spoil my fun!

I got quite speedy at this, and Mummy was always running after me, shouting 'no'. I have no idea what she means, of course!

Crawling and laughing!
Eating chocolate cake!

My other big adventure has been discovering what I like to eat. My favourites so far are chips, yoghurt and cake!

Oh, Mummy says I have to tell you I eat lots of fruit, bread and vegetables too! (And I mustn't tell you Nanny gives me chocolate!)

I've learnt how to use a spoon, but I still like my fingers.. they're so much quicker!

Recently I've been learning how to walk, and I've discovered running away is even better than crawling! I've been out on the grass, and playing with my ball.

Mummy still runs after me shouting no.. and I still have no idea what she means!!
