Amy
My youngest, Amy, was born 5th March 2004, weighing 6lb 15.5oz. She was also born by caesarean, and as she was being held by daddy, all I could see were her big blue eyes, and her little mouth immediately hunting for food!
Things haven't really changed.. whereas Bethany has always been fussy, Amy will eat most things. Unfortunately she seems to have inherited her mum's sweet tooth, so we'll have to watch that one!
She's now 3, and is proving to have a very different personality than her sister. She's more outgoing, likes attention, and is quite a comedian. She seems to 'play' more with toys, whereas Beth spent more time drawing and writing.
She also has less fear than her sister. Ever since she started to move, she's been a climber. Which has also unfortunately lead to some tumbles. The worst resulted in a rather nasty bruise by her eye.. the product of trying to jump on her sister on the bed, and finding the bedside cupboard instead! :(
Right now, she's learning well, because she copies her sister, and learns from her. She picked up shapes and colours at a very young age, and is already great with numbers. At the moment, we're working on her letters.. she recognises about half, and she can write her name.
I hope she continues to pick things up, because I have a feeling I'm going to have trouble getting her to sit down and concentrate.
There are plenty more photos on my Flickr page.
